Playground Equipment and Picnic Tables

Playground equipment and picnic tables are located throughout the park. In addition, a caboose and army tank (exterior restored) are centrally located along the main park thoroughfare. The caboose exterior was re-painted in the fall of 2007 and work continues on the interior of the caboose. A nice deck with picnic tables is located near the caboose, built as an Eagle Scout project.

Disc Golf Course Layout

Disk Golf CourseNestled along the banks of the Luxapallila River on the park's east side, this nine-hole course (par 32) is situated in a well-shaded, flat area with tree trunks and low-hanging branches as the primary obstacles. Disc golf is great fun for the whole family, great exercise and a low-cost family outing. The course was built as an Eagle Scout project and the first tee is behind the Lion's Club pavilion.

This course was installed in 2020 with 18 holes. It has over 3 miles of walking distance.
